DJ Kadir, a celebrated global artist with over 20 years of experience across East Africa, Europe, and America, is set to headline the highly-anticipated 'Cave Frequency' concert this Friday, August 29, 2025, in Kigali.
This marks his triumphant return after his awe-inspiring 2023 performance at the Old School Festival held at Juru Park, Rebero, where he entertained thousands of fans.

In 2009, Kadir returned to East Africa and co-founded the influential Ruffcuts DJz group, revolutionizing nightlife in Kigali during the 2000s to the early 2010s. His contributions to the music scene remain unmatched.
Beyond performing, Kadir has been instrumental in nurturing Rwanda's DJ talent. The Ruffcuts DJz group mentored top Rwandan DJs, including DJ Karim, DJ Toxxyk, DJ Kelly, and DJ Lenzo, shaping the future of the industry.
In 2022, he lent his expertise as a judge for the Battle of the DJs competition, Rwanda’s first-ever DJ contest in Kigali. Alongside Nigerian DJ Neptune and Rwandan DJ Sharif, Kadir played a key role in selecting Selekta Danny as the winner.
