Gospel artist Davinshi recently shared details with Inyarwanda about his newly released song, ‘Uwo Kwiringirwa,’ a transformative collaboration with Sarah Uwimana, a distinguished name in gospel music.
The song draws inspiration from deep reflections on how individuals navigate their relationship with God. It highlights God's boundless mercy and unwavering trust, even when we have faltered and sinned.
Davinshi explained, “I wrote this song while observing how we live before God. Oftentimes, before accepting salvation—or even after—we find ourselves sinning against Him. Yet, when we sincerely repent and ask for forgiveness, He forgives us. God is completely holy, unchanging, and flawless. He alone is trustworthy; we, on our part, often fall short.”
Currently working on his highly anticipated debut album, Davinshi assured his fans that the release is fast approaching, as the project is in its final stages. Though he has yet to reveal the album title or release date, he emphasized its importance as an upcoming priority. He shared, “I’m finalizing an album that’s almost complete, requiring only a few finishing touches. I plan to launch it soon and hope it becomes a blessing to all who hear it.”
In a heartfelt appeal, Davinshi called on gospel music enthusiasts to keep supporting artists in the genre. He remarked, “I would urge people to support gospel music by listening to our songs and promoting its uplifting and transformative message.”
