Carly Anniella and André Aury began their romantic relationship last year, although they had known each other since 2020. Among the qualities that made her say “yes” are his ability to love her in a way she truly feels and understands, his obedience to God, and his strong sense of purpose in life coupled with hard work.
In an interview with InyarRwanda.com, Carly shared three things she loves most about André, whom she is set to exchange wedding vows with. She said: “First, I love how he knows how to love me in a way I can truly feel. Second, I admire that he is obedient to God. Third, I deeply appreciate that he is a man with vision and works very hard.”
The couple’s wedding is scheduled to take place in Bujumbura, Burundi, on August 1, 2026, where friends and family will gather to celebrate their love and this new step into marriage.
Carly currently lives in France, where she attends ICC Clermont-Ferrand, led by Yvan Castanou. In Burundi, she is also connected to CLG Church, led by Kevin Sibomana.
Regarding her music career, Carly Anniella confirmed that she will continue her work with MTC, where she serves in management and leadership. She also revealed that the group is preparing to release a new song titled “Oluwa” in the coming days.
The group More Than Conquerors (MTC)—meaning “More Than Conquerors”—derives its name from Romans 8:37, which declares that “in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Founded on August 27, 2016, in Burundi, the group has gained significant popularity through songs such as “Warancunguye,” “Ashoboye vyose,” “Ikiziritse,” “Narahezagiwe,” “Protector,” and “Zoe.”
MTC is made up of 10 members, including 7 singers (3 women and 4 men) and 3 individuals in management. So far, they have produced over 17 songs, including both audio and video releases.
