She made the remarks on Saturday night, October 31, 2026, while performing at the ‘Improper Access’ concert held at Camp Kigali, where she was among the artists who entertained the audience.
In an interview with InyaRwanda TV, Knowless said she was pleased with how the concert went, adding that she had delivered what she had prepared and experienced the excitement she had hoped for on stage.
“It was a successful concert. I was happy with what I had prepared and delivered, and I also got the excitement I wanted on stage. It was wonderful,” she said.
She noted that although she does not perform at concerts very often, she also enjoys taking part in such events, especially when she gets the opportunity to meet her fans and share memorable moments with them.
Asked about the concert her fans have been urging her to hold at BK Arena, Knowless said the idea is also part of her plans, but she wants to ensure that everything is properly organised.
“Today, there is a Blackout event at Camp Kigali. I heard their idea and supported them. As for mine, I would love to do it, and it is among my plans. It is just a matter of timing and proper preparation,” she said.
Her remarks suggest that a concert at BK Arena remains among her ambitions, although she has yet to announce when it might take place.
Knowless took to the stage at around 11:45 p.m., opening her performance with ‘Sweet Mutima’, a song that has remained popular among Rwandan music fans.
She went on to perform some of her other hit songs, including ‘Sinzakwibagirwa’, which she released after joining Ishimwe Karake Clement’s Kina Music.
The song played an important role in her music career, with Knowless describing it as the beginning of a new chapter in her artistic journey.
She also performed ‘Nshatse Inshuti Zirananira’, originally sung by Makanyaga Abdul. The song reflects on friendship and people who may approach someone because of what they have, only to distance themselves when those benefits are no longer available.
The song was later remixed in a collaboration featuring Tom Close, Christopher, Dream Boys and Butera Knowless.
The singer also revealed that fans had been expecting her to release a new song. She explained that it had initially been scheduled to come out on the night of the concert, but they ran out of time.
“We had actually planned to release it tonight, but we ran out of time. If everything goes well, it will be released today,” she said.
Knowless is one of Rwanda’s most established female musicians. She has been active in the music industry for many years and has released several songs that continue to enjoy widespread popularity.
