Burundian international Henry Musanga has officially joined Tunisia's Club Africain, a team competing in the top-tier league, under a contract that extends until 2027. The transfer fee for this move was $50,000 USD, which translates to approximately 71,793,000 Rwandan Francs.
Previously, Henry Musanga was playing for Rwanda’s Police FC, having signed a two-year contract last summer. Before joining Police FC, he played for Flambeau du Centre in his home country, Burundi.
Known for his stellar performances, Musanga regularly represents Burundi's national team. Last season, he played a key role in Police FC's success, helping the club finish 4th in the local league and securing the Super Cup victory.
Henry Musanga now heads to Club Africain, which also finished 4th in their league last season. His departure coincides with significant changes at Police FC under coach Ben Moussa. The club has brought in new talent, including Ndayishimiye Dieudonne ‘Nzotanga’ and Kwitonda Alain ‘Bacca’ from APR FC, Nsengiyumva Samuel from Gorilla FC, and Gakwaya Leonard from Bugesera FC.
Police FC is also reinforcing its squad by recalling Iradukunda Moria, who was previously loaned to Mukura VS. Young talent Niyigena Abdoul has been promoted from Interforce, while key players Nsabimana Eric, Mugisha Didier, Ndizeye Samuel, and Rukundo Onesime have had their contracts extended.
Henry Musanga’s move to Club Africain marks an exciting new chapter in his football career.
