Bruce Melodie in Talks with Africa Creative Agency for Global Career Boost

Rwandan star Bruce Melodie is negotiating a full management deal with Africa Creative Agency (ACA) to transition from a local artist to a globally recognized talent.

Rwandan music sensation Bruce Melodie could soon embark on a groundbreaking journey with Africa Creative Agency (ACA), a partnership that seeks to elevate his artistic reach globally. While his current investor, 1:55 AM, will still finance his projects, ACA is poised to take over complete management of his music career.

Reports from InyaRwanda suggest that negotiations are ongoing between ACA and Bruce Melodie, with hopes of finalizing a deal soon. If agreed, ACA would oversee key aspects of his career, including facilitating artist collaborations, arranging global performances, managing global projects, and more.

A reliable source close to the discussions explained the significance of full management, stating: “Full management is distinct from investment. While 1:55 AM will likely continue funding Bruce Melodie's ventures, Africa Creative Agency will handle all aspects related to his musical career—sourcing collaborations, organizing performances, and ensuring his career progresses globally.”

Further emphasizing the talks, Coach Gael, founder of 1:55 AM, recently traveled to South Africa, where he held discussions with ACA founder Colin Gayle to iron out details of this transformational collaboration.

Coach Gael commented on this development: “The talks are not final yet, but the potential for growing Bruce Melodie’s career to international platforms is highly promising. When finalized, these plans could redefine his trajectory significantly.”

He elaborated on the collaboration's objective: “This partnership aims to elevate Bruce Melodie’s career from domestic success to international markets. Rwandan labels currently operate mostly locally, but with ACA’s global experience, Bruce Melodie has great potential to compete internationally.”

Highlighting ACA’s credibility, Coach Gael noted: “Africa Creative Agency is an exceptional platform for African artists like Bruce Melodie. It has proven records of promoting talents globally, making it a strategic opportunity for expanding his career beyond Rwanda.”

What is Africa Creative Agency?

Africa Creative Agency (ACA), founded by Colin Gayle, operates from offices in Los Angeles, Nairobi, and Johannesburg. The agency specializes in artist management, branding, music licensing, and placing songs in films and international media.

ACA’s success stories include Tyla, who joined the agency in 2019. Through its efforts, she signed with Epic Records, and her song “Water” earned her a Grammy Award. ACA strategically marketed her across global markets, showcasing the agency’s ability to propel talents worldwide.

Similarly, rapper Nasty C benefited immensely from ACA's support. The agency boosted his presence internationally, facilitating his music's integration into Netflix's series Blood & Water, while positioning him among top African talents globally.

Bruce Melodie Heading to the Global Stage?

If the partnership materializes, Bruce Melodie could join an elite group of African artists advancing on international music platforms. ACA could facilitate collaborations with globally acclaimed artists, organize major performances, and generate greater recognition across global markets.

Successful negotiations would also symbolize a milestone for the Rwandan music industry, showcasing its ability to produce internationally competitive talent. This partnership could redefine Bruce Melodie’s journey, introducing a fresh chapter for African music globally.
