Beulah Choir release powerful new song “Ifoto” and reveal the prayer request they always lift up

Beulah Choir, a gospel group serving at ADEPR Gatenga, has released a new song titled “Ifoto” (“Photo”), which they describe as a deeply special project rooted in their testimony of God’s faithfulness from the beginning of their ministry to where they are today.

The choir explained that the inspiration behind “Ifoto” came from reflecting on everything God has done for them. “The inspiration for this song came from looking at what God has done for us — where He brought us from and where He has taken us,” they shared.

They emphasize that the song is filled with heartfelt gratitude, thanking God for His goodness throughout their many years of ministry.

In “Ifoto,” Beulah Choir highlights the many reasons people have to thank God. They compare the past to the present, noting how life has changed over time.

They encourage listeners to reflect on their childhood photos and compare them to their current lives as a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

They say: “Take your old photo and place it next to your current one — you will see a reason to thank God. Take your childhood photo; that alone is enough. Things are better than before. Among the people You have done good to, I am one of them.”

Claudine Giramahoro, Beulah Choir’s vocal coach, told inyaRwanda that the core message of “Ifoto” is gratitude.
“The message in ‘Ifoto’ is to thank God for His goodness. The chorus says: ‘Let me praise You publicly, O God; among the people You have blessed, I am one of them.’”

Plans for 2026

Beulah Choir has also announced ambitious plans for 2026 as they continue to expand their evangelistic mission through music. Their plans include: Releasing eight (8) music videos, Organizing two major gospel crusades, and Conducting various evangelistic tours.

Beulah says their greatest joy comes from seeing their message well received and witnessing lives transformed through their music. This was shared as they revealed the prayer request they continually bring before God.

“In evangelism, we rejoice greatly when we see people receive our songs well, and when we see some repent. We constantly ask God to expand our ministry so it can reach far across the world, transform many lives, and lead many to salvation. We also pray that God strengthens us so we can continue serving Him faithfully.”

Beulah Choir was founded in 1998 as a small women’s choir made up of 20 members. Over the years, it has grown to include men and youth, and now consists of members from different age groups.

It is one of the most beloved choirs within ADEPR, widely recognized for songs that deeply touch hearts. Some of their popular songs include “Nyir’Ururembo,” “Ikigoyi,” “Icyo Turusha Abandi,” “Amakuru,” “Mukomezanye,” “Hari Igitondo,” and “Akira Ishimwe Ryacu,” among others.

The Gatenga-based choir says they are grateful for the milestones they have achieved in gospel music, including: Witnessing many lives transformed through their ministry, Hosting large gospel events, Conducting various evangelistic tours, Releasing high-quality audio and video productions

Looking ahead, Beulah Choir’s long-term goals include: Expanding their evangelistic outreach even further, Raising the standard of their musical excellence, Growing and developing as a team, Launching small income-generating projects to support the welfare of choir members.

Through “Ifoto” and their broader ministry vision, Beulah Choir continues to reaffirm its commitment to spreading the Gospel and inspiring gratitude for God’s faithfulness across generations.
