Ben and Chance, a husband-and-wife duo in Gospel music, are celebrating 10 years in the industry. This will be their first concert at BK Arena, and they have announced plans to make it an annual Easter tradition, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ with their fans.
They explained that the “Easter Jubilee” concert is a special day to celebrate Easter through joyful worship and music. BK Arena, which they describe as their “home,” provides the perfect space to gather and unite Gospel music lovers. They encouraged fans to invite friends, saying: “Tell your friend, and your friend tells theirs!”
Ben and Chance have been role models for other Gospel couples in Rwanda, as they were the first husband-and-wife duo to perform together professionally in the Gospel music scene. Their success has inspired other couples, including James and Daniella, Papi Clever and Dorcas, René and Tracy, among others.
Both artists are active in Alarm Ministries and are members of CityLight Foursquare Church, led by Bishop Prof. Fidele Masengo. Chance emphasized that performing together as a couple aligns with their divine calling.
She said: "We will continue performing as a couple. Our vision is to build God’s kingdom starting from our home, as the Bible says, ‘As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord’ (Joshua 24:15)."
Their first concert took place on May 20, 2018, at Kigali Serena Hotel, where they launched their debut album “Izina rya Yesu Rirakomeye.” The event featured performances by Aline Gahongayire, Bigizi Gentil (Kipenzi), Healing Worship Team, and Alarm Ministries.
The upcoming “Easter Jubilee” at BK Arena is expected to be a remarkable celebration of God, Easter, and Gospel music, while also marking Ben and Chance’s 10-year anniversary in music.
