Renowned Gospel group Ambassadors of Christ Choir, based at the Seventh-day Adventist Church Remera, has announced a major concert to celebrate 30 years of ministry and spreading the Gospel through music.

The celebrations will culminate in a grand concert titled “30 Years of Ambassadors of Christ” under the theme “God Painted Our Story.” The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place on August 30, 2026, at BK Arena in Kigali.

Over the past three decades, the choir has impacted countless lives through worship and praise songs that have inspired hope, comforted hearts, and strengthened faith among Rwandans and audiences beyond the country’s borders.

Through concerts, evangelistic crusades, church gatherings, and social media platforms, Ambassadors of Christ Choir has continued to touch lives and attract a large international following.

Ahead of the main anniversary celebration, the choir has organized several community and spiritual activities as part of the journey marking its 30 years of ministry.

Among the activities already carried out was a tree-planting campaign in Gasabo District, Rusororo Sector, where 30 trees were planted to symbolize the choir’s 30 years of serving God.

The initiative reflected themes of growth, longevity, and contributing positively to society.

The event brought together different generations connected to the choir, including founding members, current singers, as well as children and grandchildren of choir members. It took place on December 5, 2025, in partnership with Gasabo District authorities.

The choir also organized outreach visits to rehabilitation centers in Iwawa on February 21, 2026, and Gitagata on March 21, 2026, where they spent time with rehabilitated youth as part of a campaign against drug abuse and other destructive behaviors affecting young people.

The initiative highlighted the choir’s contribution to Rwandan society, especially in promoting youth welfare and encouraging purposeful living.

Another key activity involved comforting survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. On May 15, 2026, the choir visited families living in the IDP Model Village Rudakabukirwa located in Gikomero Sector, Gasabo District, to stand with survivors and offer encouragement and hope.

The choir revealed that additional activities will continue to be announced as the anniversary celebrations progress toward the main event in August.

On Friday, May 15, 2026, Ambassadors of Christ Choir officially shared details of the anniversary journey with journalists from Rwanda and abroad, as well as with fans and Gospel music lovers around the world.

The leadership of the choir called upon supporters, worshippers, and well-wishers to join and support the 30-year celebration journey, while inviting everyone to attend the historic anniversary concert at BK Arena on August 30, 2026.
