Her name, Alicia Kamikazi, is quickly becoming synonymous with talent in Rwanda's entertainment scene. In an exclusive interview with InyaRwanda, Alicia revealed how working with The Ben was a swift yet rewarding experience that reaffirmed her belief in the power of hard work to advance one's career in entertainment.
Adding to her impressive portfolio, Alicia showcased her talent in Bruce Melodie and Real Roddy’s freshly released music video, ‘Kuba Nisindiye II.’ She shared that Gad, an acclaimed music video director, personally approached her for the project. “Gad is the one who asked me to work with him. We discussed it, and aligned on all aspects,” Alicia said.
Collaborating with a major artist like Bruce Melodie was a dream come true for Alicia. She expressed her excitement: “I never dreamed of this, but working with him is one of the major milestones I’ve achieved.”

Alicia Kamikazi's acting journey began early—at just the age of 7 in 2010—when her family nurtured her love for cinema. Her first on-screen role was in the film ‘Amapingu y’Urukundo.’
After completing her high school studies in Mathematics, Economics, and Geography (MEG), Alicia made the bold decision to fully pursue her passion for acting. Today, she’s recognized as one of the rising stars in Rwanda's film sector, starring in notable productions like 'Bamenya,' 'Umukire w’Umumiliyoneri,' and 'Maitresse.'
Her aspirations as an actress include creating her exclusive film projects and breaking into international markets to expand her influence globally.
