Alicia Ufitimana revealed that the upcoming song draws deep inspiration from Psalms. She quoted the Bible verse, saying: “He remembers His covenant forever, the word He commanded, for a thousand generations.” (Psalms 105:8). She added, “Ndahiriwe is our next release; stay tuned—it’s coming soon!”
This new single follows their chart-topping hit "Uri Yo," which amassed over 403,000 views in just six weeks on YouTube. Alicia and Germaine’s growing repertoire includes beloved songs like Urufatiro, Rugaba, Wa Mugabo, Ihumure, and Uri Yo. Within one year in the Gospel scene, they’ve captivated audiences and secured their first prestigious award.
On May 24, 2025, the sisters earned the Best Gospel Artist accolade at the Rubavu Music Awards & Talent Detection, making history as winners of the event’s inaugural edition.
Hailing from Rubavu, Alicia and Germaine are not just singers but also dedicated students. Alicia is pursuing Medicine and Surgery as a third-year student at the University of Rwanda, while her younger sister Germaine specializes in Languages and Literature (LFK). As an active member of the Bethania Choir at ADEPR Gisenyi Church, Alicia finds joy in balancing academics with her musical career. Together, they emphasize the importance of giving equal attention to their passions.
The duo has ambitious plans to release multiple albums and share their Gospel message globally. They affirmed, “Our dream is that our music reaches far and wide. Singing in other languages will allow our voices and message to spread everywhere.”
Alicia and Germaine officially stepped into the Gospel music industry in 2024, debuting with the song “Urufatiro.” Written by their father and produced by his company ABA Music, the track offered a promising glimpse of their talent. Since then, they’ve rapidly built a name for themselves, showcasing immense creativity and vision in their songs.
