This uplifting Gospel Revival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 24-25, 2025, at ADEPR Nyarugenge, starting at 2 PM. The two-day event is set to transform lives through worship, music, and spiritual growth.
The head of Agape Choir, Prof. Sagahutu Jean Baptiste, shared with InyaRwanda that this upcoming event is designed to refresh hearts, deepen faith, and promote love and unity within the community of believers.
Prof. Sagahutu described the purpose, saying, "This is a gospel revival event aimed at renewing spiritual energy. Attendees will experience heartfelt singing, fervent prayers, inspired teachings from God’s Word, and joyful celebration in Christ."
Adding to the excitement, Agape Choir will be joined by remarkable guest choirs, including Jehovah Jireh Choir, Siloam Choir from ADEPR Kumukenke, Enihakore Choir, and the Lunch Hour Worship Team. Each choir brings a unique style of worship, promising an atmosphere filled with uplifting and spiritually enriching music.
For over 25 years, Agape Choir has been a beacon of faith, renowned for its impactful gospel ministry and charitable acts, living up to its name "Agape," which means selfless, God-like love.
What started as a modest group of singers has blossomed into a choir of over 130 members. Agape Choir has released many moving songs that have touched countless hearts. These include "Abasirikare" (Soldiers), "Ukuboko Kwiza" (The Good Hand), "Ineza Yawe" (Your Goodness), "Urugendo" (The Journey), and their newest release, "Arenyegeza" (He Will Lift Me), which came out last Friday to usher in this special event and the approaching Pentecost celebrations.
Thanksgiving and revival events like this one play a pivotal role in rejuvenating personal faith and strengthening communal bonds within the church.
Such gatherings serve as a platform for Christians to rejuvenate their passion for serving God, foster deeper connections with others, regain spiritual strength in challenging times, immerse themselves in God's Word, and reflect on the blessings experienced through His grace.
Prof. Sagahutu extended a heartfelt invitation to the public, declaring, "We encourage everyone to attend this transformative event, as it offers a rare opportunity to connect with God and be reminded that His hand has never ceased to work wonders."
Agape Choir officially announced this special thanksgiving and gospel revival event, which will feature celebrated guest groups like the Siloam Choir.
