The international evangelism organization, A Light to the Nations, underscores that spreading God's gospel must exceed mere words, extending into tangible actions that directly improve people's daily lives. This announcement was made as they ramp up preparations for the Miracle Gospel Harvest, a series of powerful evangelical campaigns scheduled at various locations across Uganda in July 2025.
Among their transformative initiatives is the renovation of public toilets for residents in Bweyale, a region in Northern Uganda. By repairing and modernizing communal toilet facilities, they addressed a long-standing sanitation problem. This effort was not only a demonstration of God’s love but also a durable solution — creating a practical impact that resonates with the community's needs.
"Our message is about showing the love of God through actions. We’re not guided by words alone but rather by what God directs us to do, based on the needs of the people," stated representatives of A Light to the Nations.
The toilet renovation project forms a critical part of preparations for two major evangelism events: one in Bweyale from July 3–6, 2025, and another in Lugazi from July 11–13, 2025. The organization affirmed that the preparations are well underway, incorporating activities such as training sessions, prayer meetings, interaction with pastors and church leaders, and targeted publicity campaigns for the events.
Visible Spiritual and Lifestyle Transformations
A Light to the Nations has observed that wherever their initiatives take place, communities exhibit enthusiasm and hope for transformation. The heightened spiritual atmosphere is often accompanied by anticipation of miracles and significant changes in people’s lives. This excitement, in turn, leads to increased participation in their programs and further spreads the gospel to new audiences.
Their evangelism efforts, as emphasized by Dana Morey and his team, aim to glorify God while helping people find purpose in life. True evangelism, they explain, should transcend the confines of church walls, engaging with everyday challenges and bridging the gap between spirituality and practical living.
A Light to the Nations continues to expand its mission by offering spiritual guidance through teachings, prayers, and training sessions for God’s workers. Furthermore, they actively improve living conditions by constructing essential community infrastructure. The organization firmly believes that sharing the gospel requires corresponding actions that reflect love, sacrifice, and genuine dedication rooted in God’s will.
