In an exclusive interview with InyaRwanda, talented Rwandan artist Bill Ruzima shared his plans to host an inspiring live music concert, offering fans a chance to celebrate and experience the unparalleled beauty of live performances.

Currently residing in Rwanda, Bill revealed that his return to life abroad remains uncertain but emphasized his commitment to sharing his "gift of worship through skillful music" with Rwandans before departing.
Bill Ruzima gained fame as part of the music group Yemba Voice, a trio of talented young men who studied at Nyundo School of Arts and Music. The group sought to elevate African music by focusing on traditional culture and authentic vocals. Although the group disbanded before expanding its reach across Rwanda, its vision left a lasting imprint in the industry.
Following the group’s separation, Bill embarked on a solo career that highlighted his storytelling prowess, cultural depth, and motivational messages through music.
Throughout his journey as a musician, Bill Ruzima has released highly praised singles that showcase both creativity and thoughtfulness. His notable song Imitoma, influenced by the legacy of Rujindiri—a pivotal figure in preserving the Kinyarwanda language—illustrates his passion for cultural preservation.
Other popular tracks include Imana y’Abakundana (God of Those in Love) and Mu Nda y’Isi (In the Core of the Earth), which reflect his unique approach to blending music with themes of life, love, and faith.
In March 2025, Bill Ruzima performed in a thrilling concert in Hanover, Germany, where he shared the stage with another esteemed artist, The Ben. This event, held on March 22, 2025, was organized by the Rwandan diaspora in Europe, highlighting Bill’s skillful integration of poignant messages with the captivating rhythms of live music.
Excitement is brewing for Bill’s upcoming show, titled Cy’Imana Concert I, scheduled for July 11, 2025, at Kamahwa in Nyarutarama. Tickets, priced at 25,000 Rwandan Francs, promise an unforgettable experience of joy, comfort, and inspiration for attendees.
While back in Rwanda, Bill hinted at returning abroad depending on specific circumstances.
